This release includes some major enhancements include new timesheet period types. |
- (New) Timesheet Period Types: TimeLive now supports following "Timesheet Period
Types".
Administrator can select employee default timesheet period type in "Admin Options"-->"Working
Days".
a) Weekly Timesheet.
b) Bi-Weekly Timesheet.
c) Semi-Monthly Timesheet (With configurable period start day).
d) Monthly Timesheet (With configurable month start day).
e) Daily Timesheet.
- (New) Timesheet Types Customization: New option now available in "Admin Options"-->"Timesheet
Period Types"
- (New) External User Login in Active Directory: External users now will be able to
login with their own email address and password defined in TimeLive instead of creating
a new login for them in Active Directory.
- (New) New Timesheet Approval: Timesheet approval now will work on period basis selected
for users in "Working Days".
- (New) LDAP Integration (Beta): Authentication now support integration with all LDAP
based directories including "OpenLDAP", "Novell eDirectory", etc.
- (New) "Copy Activities" in Timesheet: "Copy Activities" option is new copy timesheet
option, which will copy just "Projects" and "Tasks" from selected date. Time data
will not be copied in case of using "Copy Activities" button available in timesheet.
- (New) TimeLive Terminology: New "Manage Terminology" option now allows TimeLive Admin
to change Timesheet terms to any of their own custom terminology. Admin can define
which "TimeLive" terms they want to modify with their own required name in “Admin
Options”-->”Manage Terminology”. After update, TimeLive will then use those terms
in everywhere in application including menus, timesheet, forms, reports etc.

This release includes some major enhancements include new expense entry design and
timesheet entry performance improvements. |
- (New) Major performance improvements in time entry.
- (New) Expense Sheet Design: TimeLive new expense entry design allows users to submit
their multiple expenses in single expense sheet. User can then submit those expense
sheets for approval.
- (New) Copy Expense Sheet: New copy expense sheet link in my expense sheet allows
user to create a copy of already entered expense sheet.
- (New) New Reports and report datasource: New time entry report has been added with
name "Time Entry Period" for getting reports on period basis. A new datasource with
name "Time Entry Period" has also been added.
- (New) Expense sheet report: New expense sheet report allow user to see expense sheet based
reports.
- (New) Print Expense Sheet: New print expense sheet button allow user to print their
expense sheet.
- (New) Custom Reports now allow users to define headers, footers and title of report.
- (New) New Preferences option name "Show Parent Task Name in Time Entry" which enable
showing parent task name with task name in task dropdown in timesheet.
- (New) Mileage rate for expense sheet: Administrator can set pre-defined mileage
rate for reporting mileage based expenses in expense sheet from Admin Options-->Expenses.
Administrator can also enable/disable editing of this mileage rate in expense sheet
by user who is submitting expense sheet.
- (Fixed) Issues related to multi-currency expenses in "Invoicing" has been fixed
- (Fixed) Issues fixed related to multi language characters in reports.

This release includes some major enhancements include Invoice generation and Time

- (New) Copy timesheet button in day-view and week-view to copy whole week or whole
day timesheet from a previous day.
- (New) Invoicing option for creating invoices from time and expense records of TimeLive.
- (New) Validation of time hours like (Minimum hours per day, maximum hours per day,
minimum hours per week, maximum hours per week) can be setup separately for every
employee.
- (New) "Print Timesheet" option in week-view allow user to print current week timesheet.
- (New) Preferences option for enabling “Client” dropdown in time entries.
- (New) Preferences option for disabling description popup window in week-view.
- (New) Project based approval. Multiple approvers can submit same week timesheet

This release includes some major enhancements related to approval and submission setup.
|
- (New) TimeLive default view is now changed to "Week-View". Administrator can change
it back to day-view using preferences option [Default Time Entry View].
- (New) Submit button is now available only in week-view in order protect adding new
time entries after submit.
- (New) Submitting timesheet will make week-view read-only for user. Submitted records
can be unlocked using "Time Entry Archive" option available in Admin Options. Administrator
can disable locking of submitted time entries by un-checking on preferences option
"Lock Submitted Records"
- (New) Time Entry Approval: Clicking on user name link will popup user time entry
whole week.
- (New) New fields added in Employee form: Employee Type, Employee Status, Hired Date,
Termination date, Job Title.
- (New) Approved, Rejected and pending notifications are now changed to weekly data
basis.
- (Fixed) Report Permissions: Issues fixed related to report permissions.

- (New) TimeLive Custom Reporting: Custom reporting with option to create details
and consolidated reports. Administrator can create new reports and can customize
TimeLive existing system reports.
- (New) New User Interface Languages: German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Chinese.
- (New) QuickBooks (IIF) File Import/Export: TimeLive now allow IIF file import/export
of three QuickBooks data (Employees, Customers, Time Entry (For creating invoice
in QuickBooks). IIF import/export option is available in same Import/Export section.
- (New) Default Time Entry View: Administrator now can set [Default Time Entry View]
(Day-View or Week-View) in preferences. In previous version, "My Timesheet" was
launching [Day View] only. Now administrator can define in preferences the type
of view (Daily or Weekly) which should be launch when clicking on "My Timesheet"
link.
- (New) Rows per Page (Page Size): New preferences option has been added to set number of rows
which should be showed in Data-Grid.
- (New) Description popup in Week-View: User can now enter description in week-view
also. A popup for entering description will open during entering of time entries
in week-view.
- (New) All major browsers supported: TimeLive now fully support IE, Firefox, Opera,
Chrome and Safari.
- (New) Full Multi-Currency: Full multi-currency supports with history based
exchange rates.
- (New) Implementation of Employee Rate (Cost) field: Project Manager now can define
employee rate (cost) with billing rate also in TimeLive. Using different reports,
project managers can see profitability of employees working on different projects.

This release includes some major enhancements related to navigation and functionalities.
First non-English language "German" support is also introduced
in this version. The changes are as follows: |
- (New) Approval status icon in time entry day-view and week-view: Time entry
day-view and week-view now show approval status with different colored icons.
- (New) Timesheet Summarized Approval: Timesheet pending approval now show summarized
time entries which are pending for approvals in order to allow single click approval
of all time entries. Detail list of approval pending records (previous method) can
also be seen by un-checking on "Summarized" checkbox in timesheet approval.
- (New) Project Team selection saving: Project team page now keep selection of team
members when changing page also.
- (New) First non-English language added (German Language Support): Administrator
can change user interface language from English to German in preferences.
- (New) Cost Center Field: New cost center field which can be enable for showing in
Time entry using preferences.
- (New) New approver type "Employee Manager": New approver type has been added as
well as one new field "Employee Manager" has been added in employee form in order
to select every employee own manager.
- (New) CSV Import / Export: New data types added "Project Team", "Task Team"
- (New) New Login Page: New login page with TimeLive version on it.
- (New) Number of empty rows option: Administrator now can change blank rows
for adding time entries.
- (New) TimeLive installer: Installer now will setup "Internal Web Server (Cassini)",
if IIS will not available on machine.
- (New) New enhanced database setup: TimeLive database setup will create TimeLive
new database on any local or remote SQL Server instance with very easy to use setup
page.
- (New) Implementing of resource file: All TimeLive application strings are now populating
from external resource file. This now make TimeLive very easy to implement
any language in TimeLive.
- (New) Location and Department filters added in reports: Location and department
are also added in all timesheet report.
- (Fixed): CSV Import issues: All major CSV import related issues are now fixed.

This release includes improvements in whole TimeLive UI with search bar. CSV
Import/Export and international characters support have also been introduced in
this release. The changes are as follows: |
- (New) UI Improvements: New decent theme.
- (New) Search bar: For searching records.
- (New) Paging: Paging will improve page transfer performance.
- (New) International Characters Support: TimeLive now support Unicode / Utf-8 characters
supports.
- (New) Reports: New reports designs with new report print option
- (New) Work Type: Time entry now can configure to show work type field also in time
entry.
Work type allows defining of different billing rates for each work type like standard,
overtime etc.
- (New) Tax calculation updates: Tax calculations now support multi-zone tax definition.
You can now define taxes based on different areas / zones. This will help administrator
to define separate tax calculations for separate states or seperate country.
- (New) CSV Import / Export: TimeLive now support importing and exporting of CSV data
of department, employees, clients, projects, tasks, time entries and expense entries.
- (New) Project Summary Report: Whole project based timesheet, expense and task
summary.
